Jason Wong

Clinical Psychologist

Biography

Dr Jason Wong Clinical Psychologist | Social Worker | Fellow in Thanatology “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” – James Baldwin I’m here to help you make sense of what’s happening in your life, uncover your strengths, and discover new ways forward. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, health challenges, grief, or simply feeling stuck, my aim is to create a safe and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

With over a decade of experience in both local and international mental health services, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life — children, adults, families, and older people — in moments of both crisis and change. My style is warm, calm, and down-to-earth, yet I will gently challenge you to explore new perspectives and possibilities. I believe therapy works best as a partnership, grounded in respect, compassion, and evidence-based care.

Areas of expertise include:

  • Overcoming anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges

  • Managing work-related stress, sleep difficulties, and perfectionism

  • Providing family and couple counselling, and addressing intergenerational trauma

  • Navigating grief, loss, and life transitions

  • Coping with physical illness and changes in later life

  • Adapting to new cultures or life circumstances

Every person’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to your needs — drawing on the latest psychological research while keeping our work practical, human, and meaningful. My goal is not only to help you cope, but to help you grow. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
